Every Sunday, we gather around a communion table that sits in the middle of our sanctuary, surrounded on all sides by the people who call this place home. The table is open. It always has been. Whoever you are and wherever you’ve been, you are welcome here.
The backpack ministry that feeds 55 kids every week. The moms group that started because someone needed support and grew into something that has brought whole families through our doors. The coffee chat that notices when someone is missing and figures out who is going to check on them. None of this is staff-driven. This congregation shows up for itself, and for Jeffersonville.
Sunday morning is one entry point. So is Thursday pickleball, or the monthly Theology on Tap, or the Dungeons & Dragons group, or a yoga class on a Tuesday. People find their way in through different doors, and we’ve tried to build a few of them.
